Jorge Piña: ©La Mirada de la Tela/The Stare of the Canvas

La Mirada de la Tela

A Elsa Nuñez y Angel Haché

Homenaje a nuestros territorios: los sueños

De la mirada como objeto a minúscula
Jacques Lacan

Corpóreo del color y de la sombra
inevitable línea espectral
mirada donde el ojo mira
su ser de miradas el cuadro
lasciva visión especular
que impone su tiempo eterno al ojo
pintura ilusión que se desnuda

Esa nada significante escrito la tela
signo y señal del miedo
horror incesto voraz laberinto

y me encuertro a mí mismo mirándome

sombra loco inmortal y tierno

The Stare of the Canvas

By ©Jorge Piña

To Elsa Núñez y Angel Haché

Homage to our territories: the dreams.

Of the stare as object to minuscules

Jacques Lacan

Corporeal of the color and the shadow

Unavoidable spectral line

Stare where the eye looks

Its being of stares the canvas

Specular lewd vision

That imposes its eternal time to the eye

Painting illusion that gets naked

That significant nothingness written on the canvas

Sign and signal of fear

Horror incest voracious labyrinth

It’s the canvas I believe

The palpable colloquium

Specter that stares at me

The evasive cloak and soft that possesses the pigment

Loving sketch pencil of paper the ink

Nobody like the canvas knows the canvas

Painting in the painting

Canvas in the canvas

Lines of the wisdom delirium

Pages of the color desire

Poem that gets read by itself

Eye open room

Eye behind the eye

I think over the canvas

And I find myself in the stare

In the space time of the being

In the being-for-nothingness

In the being-for-death

I read the canvas

And like in a dream I see

The language of time

Poem “oniricism”

Painted magic is the canvas

Universal image of infancy

Permuted otherness of pain

Orbit open horizon

I think the canvas

And I succumb in its staring

Never the canvas was so vast like now

Oil face watercolor

Terror of the drawing

And acrylic mask

Veil that the paintbrush

Phallic being

Canvas penetrated in the palette

Unmoving remembrance unpronounceable the canvas

I think on the canvas

And I find myself staring at me

The canvas builds me in its stare

It’s the eye that stares color form and shadow

In the canvas

The color is eternally present

And it drinks its same liquid transparency

Why when thinking the painting

In the face of the other I find myself

Why in its text there are dreams

Today I rip myself in the light

Cry in the light I am

Thought figure abstraction

Shadow crazy immortal and tender

Magic realism adventurous impression

Thus

If I stare at me on the canvas I find myself in the stare

Because on the painting canvas

I invent in forgetfulness the nothingness and the dream
